In 2021, DBC Packaging and DBC Wovens funded eight community microbakeries through Celebrate Life SA’s enterprise development programme, creating business opportunities for 32 women. The initiative supported women’s empowerment, skills development and income generation, helping participants build businesses while supplying fresh bread to their communities.
